Hotel transfers are not included. Visitors must submit their vouchers at the box office in the Visitor Centre of the National Park of Iguaçu. This activity is optional and combined with the Brazilian Falls tour. When both are booked, our team will provide the necessary transportation.


Notes:

The Government Entrance fees are not included. The traveller will need to pay at the entrance of the Brazilian National Park.

Rafting

Rafting in the Iguassu Falls is done with an inflatable boat that can carry up to 8 people. You will go through the rapids of the Iguaçu River for about 4,000 meters, 2,000 meters of rapids of the level class III + (I through VI), and 2000 meters in calm waters, where you can even get out and take a bath.

While on this tour, you will observe magnificent views of Iguassu Falls from close quarters. The duration is approximately 2 hours on the Iguaçu River and the tour ends at the boarding centre of Macuco Safari. At the end of the tour, the visitor can include the option to return by motor boat (Macuco Safari), but the rate of this trip is independent of the rafting rates.

The time taken is approximately 2 hours from the Iguaçu Canyon until the end of the tour at the central Macuco Safari. This includes 20 minutes of walking, 20 minutes for safety instructions, 15 minutes for procedures, 35 minutes of rafting and 30 minutes of descent to arrive in Central Macuco.



Participant guidelines

Safety:

  • The rafting-specific jackets have to be used and come in small, medium and large sizes. They are adjustable and able to support over 120 kg
  • The helmets used conform to safety standards
  • All safety measures including trained crew, and rescue ropes are on board, to take care of unforeseen events
  • The pier of embarkation and disembarkation of the passenger Macuco Safari has professionally trained nurses

  • You are advised to wear light clothes, and use sunscreen
  • The fee for this tour does not include the entrance fee charged by the National Park
