The second step will be a trail of 600 meters (optional) takes the visitor to a waterfall called Salto Macuco. With the waters falling from a 20-meter height, this trip will refresh you.
The last stop is the birth of Macuco Safari, which is the boarding point for passengers. You will be given life-saving jackets, and plastic packaging for protection of your cameras and other equipment. The boat travels up-river, passing the Canyon, and navigating the rapids at a comfortable speed that allows you to appreciate the landscape. Rocks, animals and greenery make up the views, right up to the base of the magnificent waterfall, near the "great horseshoe", also known as "the devil's throat." Be prepared to experience a beautiful sight of rainbows, lovely skies, mists and water all at once!
As you approach the part of the waterfall nicknamed "Three Musketeers", watch out as the captain steers the boar close enough to give a fast and fun "bath" to passengers. You are advised to carry an extra pair of clothing, as at the end of this trip you are sure to need a change of clothes.
